It brings out our company’s mission of raising awareness for albinism. When we were drafting product ideas, all employees agreed that we should create a product that helps children with albinism directly. Individuals with albinism are highly susceptible to skin damage due to their sensitivity to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can lead to sunburn, and in some serious cases, skin cancer. This baseball cap, thus, is an effective way to make a social impact as it can protect them from the sunrays. Although our product may not be successfully delivered to every household with children who have albinism, we wish to tell them that they are not alone and people are there to look out for their needs.
